I was graciosly invited to tag along on this trip. Rob and I stopped Tucson, then headed south through Nogales and Hermisillo before heading east and into the Sierra Madres.

My first Boa constrictor! We spotted this guy while road cruising a couple nights prior. For a Boa he was surprisingly well-mannered and never tried to bite.

Got stuck at a stream crossing on the way back. It rained every afternoon and the water rose fast. We ended up eating tortillas and catching Red-spotted Toads until the water level went back down.

| A nice Vaejovid, probably Stahnkeini group, with instars. I found her under rocks on the same hillside that we found two Crotalus lepidus. All scorpions collected were deposited at a university in Hidalgo but will be on loan to us at UNLV. |
| Overall, it was a great trip. Lots of herps and sevearal exciting scorpions. There are a still a few more photos of different scorpion species that I may add later. |
