
The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, founded in 1890, is a service Its objectives are Historic Preservation, Promotion of Education and Patriotic Endeavor.
The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution is registered by the Internal RevenueAbout the DAR
organization dedicated to service to the nation. Currently, it is comprised of 54 state societies and
2,857 chapters in the United States as well as many Units Overseas.
The President General, Presley Merritt Wagoner, is the official spokesman for the National Society.
Service as a 501(c)(3) organization. Contributions to the NSDAR are tax deductible
to the fullest extent of the law.
